About Healthnet Services

We are a well-established family-owned independent health insurance broker with many years of experience in finding health insurance for individuals and businesses in the UK and internationally.

In 2013, we streamlined our business to better meet the needs of our many customers and we introduced a new trading name, UK Health Insurance, under which we look after our direct clients.

Our original Healthnet Services brand is now dedicated to our appointed representatives. This enables us to fully focus on continuing to provide you with the specialist services you need to develop your business.

Appointed representatives FAQs

What are appointed representatives?

An appointed representative is an individual or a company that operates as an agent for a firm that is directly authorised by the FCA. The AR sells health insurance under the firm’s name and benefits from the same compliance rights as the firm. In exchange, the ARs  pay a percentage of the commission they earn  to Healthnet.

What are the benefits of being an appointed representative?

By becoming an appointed representative for an existing health insurance brokerage instead of starting your own agency, you benefit from:

  • An established brand identity and reputation on the market,
  • Compliance requirements covered by the company you are representing,
  • Support and guidance,
  • Less time and money spent dealing with operational issues,
  • Complete ownership of your business,
  • Access to larger markets.

Who can become part of our Appointed Representatives network?

Whether you are an independent insurance broker looking to increase your business or an insurance professional wanting to increase your income, anyone with experience in the health insurance business can become an appointed representative.
